Bio

Pereira Irving Paul (b 1977) is an explorer of esoteric art, occultism and alternative consciousness. His artistic pursuits began in primary school when he decided he was going to be a writer and poet. He has been writing ever since.

After ten years of surreal experimental writing, half a decade of studying inside and outside his liberal arts curriculum and working in the music industry, Paul began reading Tarot cards professionally.

The arcane visions and corresponding powers woke up a dormant doorway for visionary art and sounds to pour through.

With the discovery of this ‘lost fire’ he quickly began drawing, painting and creating works from his interior world. He also began experimenting with audio art, producing unconventional electronic music on his laptop.

Within a span of two years, he released multiple sound works on his own net label, produced 3 art books from the nearly 300 artworks and released three books collecting his decade worth of writing.

Paul is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist who believes that Magick and Art spring from the same creative source in the universe.  He continues to explore visionary states and mythologies from other dimensions, interpreting them into bodies of work spanning literature, spoken word, sound and visual arts.
